From the very start I want to thank the Mechanical Alchemist - (aka Pigskin) and the Mechanical Alchemist's Apprentice for their time, patience and for the space taken up in the Workshop of Wonders.
Where did it all start?
- "Why don't you buy a motorbike?" enquires Keith
- I'll do myself an injury on one of those things, methinks.
- "You've got a full license!" says he.
- That's right! Thinks me.
Then after months of trawling Ebay for the right article, I managed to acquire this from a very amiable gent by the name of Justin.
It has a few paperwork problems, the VRM is registered to the engine, (a CJ250), the frame being from a CB250, nothing insurmountable, all this is more than made up for by having spoked wheels.
