At last, a wonderful photograph which shows the workshop and Pigskin in all their glory.
Sam Christmas, a brilliant photographer is working on a project documenting custom bike builders and riders which will be featured in a show this coming summer. I'll inform of the date as soon as it's announced.
Musings, reflections and social drinking whilst pulling a bike apart. Then putting it all back together again.
CREDITS
From the very start I want to thank the Mechanical Alchemist - (aka Pigskin) and the Mechanical Alchemist's Apprentice for their time, patience and for the space taken up in the Workshop of Wonders.

The Rag and Bone Man is turning his attention to haulage now. This set of wheels was built entirely from the scrap in his back yard. Now a neckerchief and a bell will be de rigueur.

Brass headlamps and brass monkeys
- 13ÂșC - Friday night was certainly the coldest I've known since I've lived in the village. The first photo is of the skylight of my bedroom from the inside on the Saturday morning. The wood pile has nearly vanished. - “I am just going out. I might be some time.”
Work on the bike this week was draining. The Alchemist and myself where defeated after two hours. Feet became leaden and fingers as brittle as matchsticks.
Only a days work left before the bike is offered up for an MOT.
The DVLA have come up trumps and given me a new registration and dated the bike to 1976. Just three years off of those black and silver number plates, but who cares? I'll be on the road in March.
